Thomas Engel - Founder & Director

Thomas Engel is director of The Saints, after finishing his study of Media & Entertainment Management at InHolland Haarlem he started working for Red Bull Netherlands as Event Coordinator. In 2005 Thomas met Matthieu Wittebrood started their venture into mobile software development by founding The Saints. With J2ME then being the leading mobile software platform and mobile games being a strong growth market they focused on mobile games. After thinking of the Mobile Guide concept for large festivals the scope broadend to creating high quality mobile applications and games.

Matthieu Wittebrood - Founder & Technical Director 

With more than 15 years of programming experience and a love for efficient coding, Matthieu has started coding for mobile devices in 2003 from whereon he has developed many mobile apps in recent years.
"It is excting to see the mobile landscape develop so quickly and having all these new functionalities available on mobile phones, quick internet connectivity, GPS and Cell ID and more processing power for mobile devices has been making my job exciting every day and for many more to come" says Matthieu between lines of code for the next project.

Hans ten Hagen - Sales Director   

After graduating from Nyenrode Business School in 1999, Hans has always chosen the exciting and challenging route to develop new concepts and push new technology and make a success out of them. When he joined Bibit Global Payments in 2000, it was still a small company, which eventually grew to an international market leading company in complex online payments. Bibit was nr 1 in the Dutch Fast 50 in 2002 and 2003. Bibit was acquired by the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2004. Once responsible for Global Strategic Sales, it was time to move on to a new challenge outside of payments. Hans joined a new exciting and fast growing startup; Greetz (www.greetz.com), where he was part of the management team and responsible for business development. At Greetz he helped enlarge the company via several large partnerships including the national post companies in Netherlands, Belgium and the UK. Greetz secured two major financing rounds in 2008 and beginning of 2009, finished at #3 in the Dutch Fast50 and won a RedHerring Top100 Europe Award in 2008. At the beginning of 2009 Hans joined The Saints  to help this creative mobile development company grow into an international leader in the field of mobile application development.
